There are 162 km of cross-country trails around Kronplatz. In the nearby Antholz Valley lies the Südtirol Olympic Arena, venue of the Biathlon World Cup, and from there the Dolomiti NordicSki network opens up with over 180 trails in eight regions. So for cross-country skiing in the Puster Valley you can choose between leisurely trails and World Cup courses.
After a day in the snow: warmth on the farm
Back at the farm, the wood-panelled parlour with its wood stove warms you up. Heating runs on wood chips from the forest around the farm, and ski boots dry overnight in the warm boiler room. The animals in the barn are happy to have visitors in winter too.
