The Übersteinerhof sits above St. Lorenzen in the Puster Valley, at around 1,130 metres. You stay on a real working farm, surrounded by meadows and forest, with plenty of sun and the quiet that is often hard to find down in the valley. Kronplatz is about 10 kilometres away: Bruneck and the valley station in Reischach are each about a 17-minute drive.
Our two apartments, Relax and Idyllik, sleep 2 to 8 guests. They suit couples as well as families and groups of friends. You cook for yourself, often with fresh ingredients from the farm, and enjoy the mountain view in the evening.
In winter you set off from here to ski at Kronplatz, to cross-country ski or to go winter walking. In summer, hikes and bike rides start in the surrounding area, and the Dolomites are within easy reach. The South Tyrol Guestpass is included in the price, so you can also travel by bus and train throughout South Tyrol.

The area
St. Lorenzen and the Puster Valley
In St. Lorenzen, history and the present sit side by side. The pilgrimage church of Maria Saalen is close to the farm, while Sonnenburg Castle and the Sebatum museum tell the story of the region. In Bruneck, the main town of the Puster Valley, the old town, shops and cafés invite you to stroll, and the Messner Mountain Museum Ripa in Bruneck Castle and MMM Corones at Kronplatz are nearby.
The Puster Valley stretches between Brixen and Innichen and is well connected by bus and train. That means you can reach the neighbouring valleys and the best-known Dolomites destinations without a car.

Winter holiday at Kronplatz
Kronplatz is part of the Dolomiti Superski ski area, about 10 km from us. If you prefer it quieter, there are cross-country trails in the Puster Valley, the Antholz Valley and the Gsies Valley, as well as tobogganing and snowshoeing.

From St. Lorenzen you can reach famous destinations such as Lake Prags, the Plätzwiese plateau and the Three Peaks. Along the Puster Valley cycle path you pedal at an easy pace through the valley.
