Drinking water from our own mountain spring

The water in your apartment comes from our own fresh mountain spring. Spring water straight from the tap: a piece of nature you taste in every glass.

Heat from wood: wood-chip heating with local timber

The farm’s central heating runs on wood chips from the forest around the Übersteinerhof. The fuel grows back right on the doorstep and does not have to travel far.

So your holiday apartment stays cosy even on cold winter days after skiing at Kronplatz, with energy from the region.

Solar energy: hot water and green power from the roof

The farm sits in a sunny spot at 1,130 m, and we use that twice: the solar panels for hot water have proved their worth for years, and the newly built photovoltaic system supplies green electricity.

Local flavours: milk, eggs and herbs from the farm

For breakfast our guests receive fresh milk and eggs straight from the farm, as long as there is enough. You are welcome to pick herbs yourself in the farm garden.

Cows, calves, horses, chickens and cats are part of everyday life on a farm stay in South Tyrol, and on a family farm holiday children can help at feeding time.
