Farm stay in South Tyrol’s Puster Valley
The Übersteinerhof is a farm with animals in Maria Saalen near St. Lorenzen, at 1,130 m, where the forest meets the meadows. Two holiday apartments for 2 to 8 guests, about 10 km from Kronplatz and in the heart of the Puster Valley.
Here you wake up to birdsong and fall asleep to the rustling of the forest. The farm is away from traffic yet central: Bruneck, Kronplatz and the Dolomites are close by.
You stay in one of our two holiday apartments, Relax and Idyllik, each 95 m² with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony. You cook at your own pace and receive fresh milk and eggs straight from the farm.

Sunny and quiet at 1,130 m
Fresh air, wide views and plenty of sun. The setting above St. Lorenzen brings peace and rest.
Our own spring water
The water on the farm comes from our own mountain spring.
Wood chip heating, sun and rooftop power
We rely on wood chips, solar thermal and photovoltaics to use energy with care.
Products from our farm
For breakfast, our guests get fresh milk and eggs straight from the farm, as far as supplies allow. You are welcome to pick herbs from the garden yourself.
Farmhouse parlour, wood stove and balcony
After skiing or a long hike, warm up in the farmhouse parlour, panelled in natural wood and heated by a wood stove. The corner bench is made for eating and playing together.
On warm days you soak up the sun on the 20 m² balcony, whether in Apartment Relax or Apartment Idyllik.
A farm with animals to meet
Cows, calves, horses, chickens and cats live at the Übersteinerhof. At feeding time you are welcome in the barn: on a family farm holiday children help feed the animals, stroke them or pick up the kittens.
From nature, in nature
The farm itself makes for sustainable travel in the Dolomites: drinking water comes from our own mountain spring, heating runs on wood chips from the surrounding forest, the sun provides hot water and the photovoltaic system electricity.
In the farm garden next to the house, vegetables and flowers grow with a view over the valley.
Location: between Kronplatz and the Dolomites
For a winter holiday at Kronplatz, the ski mountain is only about 10 km away. During summer in the Puster Valley, head out to Lake Prags, the earth pyramids, the Reinbach waterfalls or the Sellaronda in the Dolomites.
Culture is right on the doorstep: Taufers Castle, the Messner Mountain Museums and the old town of Bruneck. If you arrive by train or bus, we are happy to pick you up at the stop.
